General School Announcements

• Semester exam schedule for grades 7-11: 3rd and 4th period exams are on Wednesday, May 22; 5th and 6th period exams are on Thursday, May 23.
• Students are dismissed at 11:30 AM Wednesday - Thursday!  Buses will run early.
• Every student in grades 7-12 must turn in their Chromebook, case, and charger to the library on their last day of school.  If you need a Chromebook for summer classes, you should still turn in your current Chromebook; you will fill out a form to receive a different Chromebook over the summer.

• Graduation is Friday, May 24, at Robert Earl Grisham Stadium, weather permitting, or at Larry Sinyard Gym otherwise.

Announcements Related to LCHS Athletic Events

• Want to go ahead and mark your calendars?  Football kicks off the 2024 season at Lexington on August 22 (7 PM), and volleyball opens the season at home vs West Limestone on August 22 (4 PM).

• Seniors, please check your email to confirm the spelling of your name for the yearbook and hall pictures.

Announcements Related to School Fees and Orders

• All students may eat breakfast and lunch for FREE this year.  However, please note that "extra" portions of food or specialty items not on the daily menu are not free.

Announcements Related to Local Programs, Opportunities, Competitions, and Activities

• Any student interested in providing private tutoring for other students after school, please send Mrs. Brown an email with your name and phone number.  She will give information to parents (or students) when they request tutoring.
