Health Hero Immunizations will offer the Flu Shot to students in grades Pre K (4 years olds) through 12 grade with private insurance, Medicaid, Allkids or for students without health insurance. Students with PEEHIP Blue Cross and Blue Shield are not covered in the Health Hero Flu Clinic but are included in the PEEHIP Wellness Clinic.
This is a voluntary school vaccination program and permission forms will be sent home with students beginning Monday, September 9, 2019 and must be returned to the school nurse by Friday, September 13, 2019. The date for this vaccination program is Monday, September 23, 2019 for all Lauderdale County schools. (The Flu Mist is not available with this school program.)
